Sakura Bandana Charcoal

Inspired by the full bloom of cherry blossoms in spring, this discharge print is a hand drawn image of the Sakura, or cherry blossom, the flower of Japan. These subtly textured bandanas are produced in one of Okayama's oldest textile mills, Nihon Menpu. Nihon Menpu uses weaving and dyeing techniques dating back to the early 1900s. These rare fabrics are unique to Nihon Menpu.
