From the artist:
I came upon this old carpenter's box that had fallen apart. It had a wear and look to it that I thought would pair nicely with the collection of old lures. I love how all of the lures are able to stand on their own, but they become a collection when they are all laid out individually in rows. There is something reminiscent of a battalion of soldiers coming back from war. The lures show the scars of battle and age, that can only come from the very teeth of battle.
