Kicking Mule Workshop

1980 Black Selvage
The 1980 fit from Kicking Mule Workshop has been rated one of the world's best jeans by GQ and has been a Context favorite since its conception. Donned by the likes of Warhol and Cash, black denim has made its mark on men's fashion. This red-line selvage jean is warp and weft dyed black creating a subtle sheen on the surface. The fabric is shuttle loomed and cut and sewn in Okayama Japan. Production on this jean is limited to 150 pairs and is available only at Context.
  • Context exclusive
  • Dye derived from Charcoal
  • Deer hide leather patch
  • Made of Japanese Selvage Denim
  • Black Enamel Coated Hardware
  • CONTEXT Expert Tip: These are extremely rigid and will soften with wear. Warp and weft dyed denim will develop a subtle and unique fade over time-- a brilliant sheen. These are the ultimate black jean.
