The Stronghold

FW12 Medium Weight Straight Leg

Established in 1895, eight years before the Wright Brothers first flew at Kitty Hawk, The Stronghold was the very first denim brand manufactured in Los Angeles. Today The Stronghold uses only "Historically Correct" denim in the production of their garments. The Medium Weight Straight Leg denim is shuttle loomed in Japan and has an amazing slubby hand. The copper rivets are hand hammered, each rivet has a unique strike angle. The dynamic character of this denim can be credited to the men behind The Stronghold. Michael Paradise and Michael Cassel produce true luxury garments-- made by hand with impeccable attention to detail.
