Brooklyn Tailors' suits are handmade by a small team of tailors, each one at a time. Jackets are constructed with a full free-floating horsehair canvas, and feature hand-stitched buttonholes, and hand pick-stitched finishing. The adherence to traditional methods of construction, and the attention to detail that our workshop production provides, produces a suit with a better drape, longer life, and that will only get better the more it is worn and as it ages.
For the Brooklyn Tailors necktie collection, we've partnered with a small tie maker in nearby Belleville, New Jersey, who has been hand-making neckwear continuously since 1919. The ties are constructed with a free-floating interlining, and are hand folded, slip-stitched and bartacked one at a time.
