The Hill-Side designers, Emil and Sandy Corsillo, obtain most of their fabrics from old Japanese mills. These materials have been lovingly crafted by artisans for generations. After the raw fabrics have been sourced, the Hill-Side produce their garments in New York City. Their products are meant to be timeless and are built to last.
This weighty dense "Old Virginia" fabric is woven for The Hill-Side in rural Virginia (moonshine country) by a 6th generation weaver. The fabric is dubbed "modified herringbone" and is woven using recycled 80/20 cotton/poly yarn from Hickory, NC.
