Kletterwerks
SS13 Kletter Flip Rust
The legend of Kletterwerks began in Bozeman, MT circa 1972. Founder Dana Gleason began building packs while running one of the earliest outdoor shops in the US. The packs Dana created during the 1970's would eventually become the Terraplane, Day, Flip, Rock, and a Hip Sack. The name Kletterwerks is derived from “Kletter” meaning Climbing, in German, and “Werks” meaning Plant. Kletterwerks basically means “climbing factory”. During the 80’s and 90’s Dana's superior bags became the packs of choice for hardcore mountain athletes. After a 35 year silence, the original Kletterwerks designs are available once again with a few modern updates. Led by Dana's son (D3) Kletterwerks bags are currently made in Bozeman, MT from Cordura 1000D Nylon in the company's original color, rust orange.
