Activism

Apolis is positioned as an activism group in order to establish credibility with current and potential humanitarian partners. In 2006 Apolis opened the Defend Tomorrow Fund to invest at least one percent of annual revenue into 'hands on' sourcing fibers and production resources from economies in need. This has already been put into action after Shea Parton's second trip to northern Uganda in September of 2007 to work on the first stages of a cotton initiative. Apolis also creates collaborative products with non-profits partners to showcase commerce that tangibly makes a difference.
