Left Field

Left Field was started in 1998 in NYC where it has remained for over 10 years. Christian, the designer, draws his inspiration from America's heritage and the underbelly of society and American cultures ranging from Pennsylvania mine workers to Midwest farmers to ivy league athletes and 1970's motorcycle gangs. All varied yet distinctly American.

Context Expert Tip: This denim has a tremendous amount of depth and character due to uneven yarns and the nature of the weave. The character, nep, uneven yarns, slub of the denim are a bi-product of a raw unprocessed yarn and cotton. This will feel stiff and course the first day or two of wearing and then soften. The denim is a Japanese Kuroki fabric of natural indigo dye with high shrinkage so they were pre-washed. They will stretch one inch with consistent wear.
